Picture This announced a gig just two hours before it happened last night and there were scenes

Picture This mania.

THE EAGERLY-ANTICIPATED debut album from Athy band Picture This comes out on Friday – and it’s only a month since they sold out the 3Arena twice over.

So, to drum up a bit of interest – not that it’s needed – they dreamed up a secret gig in Dublin to take place last night and announced it last week on social media.

Nobody would know where it was happening until two hours before

And sure enough at 5pm on the dot they shared this photo to Facebook. The Grand Social on the quays in Dublin was the location, and things were kicking off at 7pm

Before 7pm had even hit, the gig was sold out and a massive crowd had gathered outside

Didn't get tickets but fair ple to the lads coming out and singing a few tunes for those who didn't!! 👍

So the lads had to get up and play them a couple of songs for coming down – right there on the street

Just missed the bus home but caught these guys🤗 #SilverLiningISeeYou #PictureThis #PopUpGig

Things got even more intense when the gig itself started inside – especially when Take My Hand came up

With just two hours notice they had packed the place out

And the band had a message at the end of the night, along with this excellent shot:

“DUBLIN. That was a fucking party. Well done for getting in. Sorry to those who didn’t. See you again soon x”

Safe to say those 3Arena gigs are going to be raucous affairs.
