so sweet

Pineapple is a completely legitimate pizza topping and people need to accept it

You are not alone.

THE WORLD OF pizza toppings is an open-minded place – in the sense that you can order pretty much anything on there without fear of an absolute slagging.

Except one thing.

People have a serious problem with pineapple on pizza

Like, a personal, deep-rooted issue with other people enjoying it

Like some sort of pizza Grinch.

But, there’s a vocal minority who defend their rights to have pineapple on pizza

They feel that those critics haven’t actually bothered their holes to try it

They’re imploring you to taste it before you rip it to shreds

Look at it: Nothing to be scared of

We need to accept that people have differing tastes on an important issue like pizza

Less hate, more love.

The key to pineapple’s appeal is the contrast between sweet and savoury that no other pizza topping comes close to

This question on Quora asked it straight

Pretentious might be a bit harsh, but the body of the question made a salient point:

If it’s so bad, why is Hawaiian pizza (with ham or bacon) on almost every pizza menu around the world?

Yes.

Everywhere does it, so it’s not some sort of dreamed-up nonsense that you can easily dismiss. Pineapple is part of the pizza world.

One response was none too happy about the situation:

No. I don’t like pineapple on pizza because I think it’s disgusting.

Fair enough.

It’s grand to dislike pineapple, but we need to keep an open mind for those that think it’s delish

The criticism is unwarranted for such a joyous thing as pizza

It’s acceptable

Let pineapple pizza lovers LIVE.
