This dad's lovely birthday surprise for his terminally ill son is going super viral

SPIDER-MAN DOESN’T OFTEN visit kids’ birthday parties, but when he does…

Mike Wilson from Southampton wanted to make his son Jayden’s fifth birthday particularly special.

Why? In late 2013, Jayden was diagnosed with a brain tumour, with doctors saying he has only one year left to live.

So as a birthday treat, free-runner Mike had a custom Spider-Man suit made so he could surprise Jayden with a visit from his favourite superhero.

Mike writes:

Today he is still with us fighting all the way, but at least he has Spider-Man to take care of him.

The family have set up a fundraising page and a Facebook page for support for Jayden’s treatment.
