FEW THINGS HAVE captured the public’s imagination quite like Stranger Things, the second season of which has reaffirmed it as an absolute phenomenon.

For those of you who would like to combine your favourite TV show with fighting with your loved ones, we give you: Stranger Things Monopoly.

Players make their way around the board buying up all sorts of locations from the series, including Mike’s Basement and Joyce’s Wall (and even the Upside Down, if you have 400 beans to spare).

You build forts and hideouts instead of houses and hotels, which is a nice touch considering one of the spaces is ‘The Void’. No one needs a hotel in The Void.

The Community Chest and Chance cards have become ‘Walkie Talkie’ and ‘Blinking Lights’, and the tax squares have also been given a makeover:

‘Demogorgon attack: M200′. You have to deal with the monster and cough up cash? That’s just cold.

The cutest detail, however, are the tokens – there’s a sneaker, a TV, a camera and a bike, and each has its blackened Upside Down equivalent.

The game is currently €29.99 (down from €39.99) in Easons. We’re practically doing your Christmas shopping for you at this stage.
