Writing "suits you" under pictures of people holding babies should be outlawed

Social media crimes 101.

IN THE LONG list of social media crimes, this one is up there.

Writing “suits you” under a picture of a childless person (usually a woman, sometimes a man, often in a relationship because otherwise how would the hideous troll convince someone to procreate with them?) should be outlawed.

Contrary to popular belief, it is not in Facebook’s terms and conditions to belt out a “suits you” or “you’re next” every time you see a photo of someone holding a child who is not theirs. Your opinion on the matter is null and void. Put down the phone. Step away from the laptop. Take up a hobby.

Also, consider the practicalities of what’s been said. Holding a baby doesn’t “suit” anyone. You either hold it, or it falls to the floor. And then nobody’s happy.

Not everybody wants a baby.

Not everyone can have a baby.

Not everyone feels the same way as you about the progression of their life.

No more “suits you”. No more “you’re next”.

Thank you.
