Here's the first trailer for Graham Linehan's new Irish comedy The Walshes

And it looks a bit great.

FATHER TED CO-CREATOR Graham Linehan has a new Irish comedy, which is arriving on our screens on Thursday March 6.

Called The Walshes, the show is set in 1980s Dublin. It was co-written with Irish comedy group Diet Of Worms and based on their inspired YouTube series A Taste Of Home.

We’ve already had a glimpse of what to expect – but this is the first actual series footage.

Frankly, we’re looking forward to it very much.
