Let’s Sing and Dance for Comic Relief (BBC1, 6.45pm)
It’s time again for celebrities to make fools of themselves for charity! Yay. Hosted by Mel and Sue of GBBO fame, this show sees somewhat famous faces impersonating their favourite pop stars. With appearances from Ed Sheeran and Emeli Sande.
The Great Gatsby (RTÉ2, 9.15pm)
Baz Luhrman’s take on the classic F Scott Fitzgerald novel – it stars Leonardo DiCaprio as the titular character, a self-made millionaire driven by his obsession with a beautiful woman from his past (Carey Mulligan). A lush delight.
Everybody’s talking about: Schwarzenegger vs Trump
Oh they still hate each other, don’t worry. In fact, Arnie has confirmed that he’s stepping away from hosting the Celebrity Apprentice because of Trump. He told Empire:
It’s not about the show, because everyone I ran into came up to me and said “I love the show… but I turned it off because as soon as I read Trump’s name, I was outta there.”
Trump is still an executive producer on the show, you see, which lead to boycotts from people unhappy with the President. Grim for all involved.
