Electric Dreams is a new anthology show based on the work of sci-fi author Philip K Dick – the first of the ten episodes takes place in a futuristic city where a meteor shower has destroyed most of technology. Bryan Cranston, Steve Buscemi and Jack Reynor star in later episodes. #electricdreams

Filmmaker Laura Poitras was given an unprecedented level of access to Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, filming him over six years of his political asylum in the Ecuadorian embassy in London. #risk
The King’s Speech (RTÉ One, 9.30pm)
Colin Firth nabbed an Oscar for his portrayal of King George VI in this charming biopic – Geoffrey Rush plays the man who helped the king overcome his debilitating speech impediment.
Everybody’s talking about: The Emmys
The fancy-shmancy TV awards are taking place in Los Angeles tonight, hosted by Stephen Colbert. Favourites include Westworld, which is up for a whopping 22 awards, and Stranger Things, which is in the running for 18. You can see all the noms here.
