First Dates Ireland (RTÉ2, 9.30pm)

It’s baaaack! A host of new daters are hoping to find love in the second season of the Irish First Dates – tonight, country music fan Rachel hopes to hit it off with Conor the carpenter, and Antonio attempts to woo medical scientist Sinead. #FirstDatesIRL

Generation F’d (RTÉ2, 10.30pm)

This series meets some of the now grown-up children of the recession (aged 25-35), who have found that the usual milestones of life – buying a house, having a pension, etc – are out of their reach. The first episode follows former Clerys employee Susan McGowan. #generationfd

Clean Eating – The Dirty Truth (BBC2, 9pm)

Last year, ‘clean eating’ was the diet of the moment – now Dr Giles Yeo is investigating if a ‘clean’ diet is the wonder cure so many of its proponents suggest it is. He meets Ella Mills (AKA Deliciously Ella) to find out more.

Everybody’s talking about: American Crime Story

American Crime Story creator Ryan Murphy has already green-lit two more seasons of the show – one dealing with Hurricane Katrina, the other with the murder of Gianni Versace.

Now it seems another is already in development, this time focusing on the Monica Lewinsky sex scandal. The Guardian reports that Murphy is setting up meetings with actors to play Lewinsky and Bill Clinton. Eeek.

  • The Tommy Tiernan Show (RTÉ One, 10.15pm) Like Tommy, we don’t know who’s going to be on this improvised chat show until we watch. Fun!
