A GROUP OF Wexford schoolboys were asked to recall samples of folklore from their area as part of an arts project.

The exercise by Michael Fortune is part of an initiative to conduct arts and heritage projects with young people, engaging them with their localities.

Like many places in Ireland, Wexford has tales of banshees, wart remedies and the divil himself. The lads from Coláiste Abbain in Adamstown just have their own particularly hilarious way of telling them…
