Twihard spends over €10k getting Robert Pattinson tattooed all over her body

The vampire-themed ink took 91 hours to complete.

HAVE YOU EVER loved something so much that you wanted to permanently ink it all over your body?

Cathy Ward has. The 52-year-old Twilight superfan has spent over €10,000 transforming her skin into one massive movie poster for the popular vampire franchise.

Ward’s body art depicts the entire New Moon movie poster on her back, and she looks well on her way to covering her entire body. She’s featured on Channel 4′s documentary series ‘My Tattoo Addiction’ this Thursday, and is said to have spent about 91 hours under the needle to achieve her look.

According to the Daily Mail, the tattoos are meaningful to her as the novels helped her to stop overeating and drop from a size 24 to an 11.

In an interview with Get Reading, Cathy–who is firmly Team Edward–says she’s not planning on stopping any time soon.

The books helped me lose six-and-a-half stone – I’m a hopeless romantic and I got hooked on them and while I was reading them I wasn’t eating. The tattoos are because it means a lot to me and they’re a good reason to keep the weight off.

While her husband isn’t bothered with her tattoos, her brother hasn’t spoken to her in five years.

“My brother has disowned me but my dad has accepted it and my husband has given up complaining – when I come in now he just says, ‘show me’!”

Cathy was also keen to tell the Daily Mail that her tattoos have gotten her the right kind of attention, as she was invited to the red carpet at the Breaking Dawn premiere.

I got sent tickets to the premiere, which was brilliant although security wouldn’t let me near the main characters.
