MEET TARA MONROE.
Earlier this year, her father took her car away from her after she she refused to take a breathalyser test and was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Her father gave her a bike, but Monroe decided to forego that mode of transportation (“Riding a bike around campus. Like really sucks.”) in favour of a more vintage vehicle: a battery-powered Barbie Jeep.

MySA.com reports that Monroe bought the Barbie Jeep for $60 on Craigslist from a little girl named Charlene.
Since then, Monroe has become a bit of a celebrity on campus at the University of Texas at Austin’s West Campus and Texas State.
And it seems the 20-year-old is loving it.

The story has gone massively viral over the past 24 hours, but not everyone is so amused.
Many have stated that the Monroe is being applauded for dangerous driving that got her into this situation in the first place.
