Is Alison Gold the new Rebecca Black?

The guy who wrote ‘Friday’ is back with a new track, ‘Chinese Food’.

IT MAY NOT be Fri-day, Fri-day for another four days, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy a great pop tune.

How about a new, inevitable hit, from Patrice Wilson–the man who created the Rebecca Black hit, Friday. Considering this one is kinda offensive, the viral hitmaker knows exactly what he’s doing.

The video was only uploaded yesterday and already has almost 800,000 views. Perhaps it’s in line to catch its big sister Friday with its 60 million hits?

In typical Wilson style, the song title gets straight to the point and stars a young wannabe popstar, Alison Gold. The usual autotuning, cringeworthy lyrics and questionable ‘acting’ all feature.

Aside from the casual racial stereotyping, a big man-bear (Wilson) features at a girly sleepover. All deeply uncomfortable.

Even the great Rebecca Black herself can’t deal with the weirdness.

However, with lyrics such as:

Then I’m hungry and I’m walking on the street and I’m getting, getting, getting grumpy. I love Chinese food, you know that it’s true. I love fried rice, I love noodles, I love chow mein, chow m-m-mein.

Well, we know what we’ll be singing in Charlie’s Saturday night over a 3-in-1.
