Thackery Binx was a young man alive during the Salem Witch Trials. When the three witches kidnapped his sister, he tried to stop them and, well, they turned him into a black cat.
Unable to die, he remained a black cat for 300 years and in Hocus Pocus, he befriends Max and Dani.
Yes, Thackery Binx was no ordinary cat and for that reason, a lot of gals developed a weird, confusing crush on him.
