Do I engage in appeasement? Ask Bin Laden, says Obama

US PRESIDENT BARACK Obama was recently asked to respond to Republican charges that he has engaged in a foreign policy of appeasement.

Obama responded: “Ask Osama bin Laden, and 22 out of 30 other top al-Qaeda leaders who have been taken off the field if I engage in appeasement.”

After pausing for a moment, he added: “Or whoever’s left out there – ask them about that.”
