1. Where tf did he meet Princess Beatrice?
OK, so there’s no actual photo of these two together, but we know they’re mates. How?

The whole world went, WHAT THE F**CK? when it was revealed that Ed got his cheek scar while at a casual gaff party (at the Royal Lodge in Windsor) to celebrate James Blunt’s birthday.
Princess Beatrice apparently was jokingly knighting James when she hit Ed with the sword and cut his cheek. Lifestyles of the rich and famous, what?
How are they friends? Well, Ed Sheeran KINDA looks like Prince Harry if you squint a bit. Even Margot Robbie thought so.
Maybe Beatrice mistook him for her cousin and a beautiful friendship blossomed? Weirder things have happened, like basically everything to do with this story.
2. Ronaldo
In breaking news today, it turns out Ed is mates with Ronaldo. Brazilian Ronaldo Luis Nazário, that is. Not the Real Madrid Ronaldo, which would make approximately one percent more sense.
How are they friends? They first met back in 2015, when Ed performed at a match in San Paulo. He went back to his gaff for a sesh and get this, Ronaldo KNEW THE THINKING OUT LOUD DANCE.
According to The Sun, Ed said:
I met Ronaldo and he came to my concert and invited us to his house which has a club in it. We went there and he showed me my dance routine from the Thinking Out Loud video. He had learned it with his girlfriend, which was amazing.

3. Courtney Cox
Ed and Monica from Friends have been friends for ages now. He stayed in her Malibu beach house free of rent back in 2014 for ‘several months’, proving that he is the greatest chancer of all time.
Ed even set her up with Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid, and is set to sing at their wedding.
How are they friends? Maybe Ed put out an ad on Couch Surfers and Courtney replied? Who really knows, this is baffling.
4. Russell Crowe
Russell presented Ed with a Brit back in 2015, but did you know that they’re actually mates?
Ed said they love getting locked together:
I’ve started hanging out with Russell Crowe because he loves getting drunk and I love getting drunk.
Well, I mean, if that’s not enough to hold a friendship together…
How are they friends? Well, they met at the BRITS of course, sadly it’s not such an amazing story. But still, it’s like going to Coppers with your dad. No.
5. Jedward
Ed Sheeran and the Lucan twins go back YEARS.
They crossed paths weeks ago on BBC Radio 1, and Jedward claimed they have a duet in the making.
Ed even referred to the trio as “JedSheeran”. Inventive.
How are they friends? I don’t know, but the real question is, what do they talk about? I highly doubt it’s the usual laddy banter. Please Ed, shed some light.
6. Zach Braff and Kit Harrington
OK, we’re not exactly sure if these three have ever hung out outside this photo, but it sure is a total motley crew.
Why are these drinking together? Why does Kit looks like he hates it?
How are they friends? Well, it seems Kit may have stumbled across the party, but Zach and Ed are the real deal. Zach hangs out with young famous popstars including Ed’s bff Harry Styles, so they probably were introduced that way.
7. Psy
Yes, the Gangham style dude. Ed drank some champagne with him, because why not?
Psy is even said to have inspired Ed’s mad-night-out video for Sing. Psy THEN made a remix of the song.
How are they friends? Well, it seems it all started with a night out. Ed said:
I went out on this night out with Psy and everyone was wearing a Psy mask in a Korean restaurant and they were all Korean and all wearing a Psy mask and I didn’t know which one was Psy, I had no clue.
I eventually found out who Psy was and he’s just a monster when it comes to…there’s this Korean drink called Soju.
8. Bill Clinton
Ah yeah, the perfect addition to this batshit dinner party. Bill Clinton. The former President of the United States met Ed back in 2013 when he went to his Clinton foundation poker game.
Ed said he was bought in by a lawyer in New York because he was nice to his daughter at a gig.
How are they friends? Thanks to that lawyer. But maybe Bill Clinton loved a bit of a bop to A Team? Listen, it’s done now.
9. Wayne Rooney
In fairness, this one isn’t that weird.
But how they express their friendship is. They got together to sing Robbie Williams’ Angels in a bar in New York and to be fair, friendship goals.
The Manchester United footballer even took to twitter to congratulate Ed on the release of his latest album, divide.
How are they friends? It seems Wayne is just a massive fanboy and Ed got sucked in. Here they are in Manchester after Ed’s gig singing Lego House.

It’s not inconcievable that these two would hang out, but again, what on earth do they talk about?
