Ellen DeGeneres shared Colin Farrell's 'beautiful' marriage equality speech last night

ON MONDAY NIGHT, Colin Farrell appeared on Claire Byrne Live to lay out his support for marriage support.

Now the speech is going international as only Ellen DeGeneres has gone and shared the speech with her 38 million followers on Twitter. (That is not a typo – Ellen actually has 38 million followers on Twitter.)

DeGeneres, who married her partner Portia De Rossi in 2008, called Farrell’s impassioned support “beautiful” and said that she couldn’t have put it better herself.

Since Ellen shared the video, numerous international LGBT publications have posted it including The Backlot and Towelroad.
