Don't share that Facebook 'copyright' post, it's nonsense

Pure nonsense.

A HOAX FACEBOOK post claiming to protect users’ copyright is once again doing the rounds after first becoming widespread on the site in 2012.

The post says that if a Facebook user copies and pastes a body of text onto their wall, their posts are then copyright protected.

It’s all a big load of nothing though.

Facebook doesn’t try to claim copyright over the things you post. Instead, you give the company permission to ”use, distribute, and share the things you post, subject to the terms and applicable privacy settings.”

So don’t copy and paste, you’ll be wasting your time… and you might disrupt the never ending feed of Christmas engagement photos.
