HOW YOU PUT on your bra can say a lot about your personality, says one body language and behaviour expert.
Patti Wood claims she knows more about you than how adjustable you are, depending on how you clasp your underwear.
It all works off the basis that there are four distinct personality types:
- drivers
- influencers
- supporters
- careful correctors
Wood claims that each of these tend to have ‘unique ways of doing things, even small tasks’.
Everything you do, and the way you do it, comes together to form a story about yourself, and there’s no reason your undergarments shouldn’t be a part of that.
She identifies four ways of putting on a bra, and what each means.
If you use a bra clasped at the back, and clasp it at the back
You’re a supporter and you like to stick to tradition. You love being around people and get along with them, and you’re always prepared.
If you clasp your bra at the front and then twist it around
You’re an influencer, a woman who likes to feel appreciated and supported. You look the part, and favour pretty bras.
If you have a front-clasping bra you clasp at the front
You’re a driver, you get things done and are efficient. You don’t like to waste time and make well-researched positions.
If you clasp your bra once, then pop it over your head
You’re a careful corrector, and you like to make sure things are done how they should be. You worry about getting things right so think them through, and don’t like being the center of attention.
