In pictures: Katharine Hepburn family estate on sale for $30 million

THE FAMILY HOME of late Hollywood legend Katharine Hepburn has been put on the market for a cool $30 million (€23.6 million).

The Connecticut property is set on 3.4 acres and has three waterfront lots, including a gatehouse, complete with personal sandy beaches. The main six-bedroom residence has over 8,000 square feet of living space spread over three floors, according to the estate agent Sotheby’s. The property also has a private dock (near which Howard Hughes landed his seaplane in the 40s).
