WE’RE NOT QUITE sure what a hotstepper is, but we think it’s someone who likes to hang around bikini-wearing ladies in sheds made out of corrugated iron.
At least, that’s what the video for Here Comes The Hotstepper shows us, which also explains that a hotstepper is somewhat of a ‘lyrical gangster’.

This single reached number three in the Irish charts in 1995, and hung around for 13 weeks. Those were the days.
