LAST NIGHT SOMETHING strange and wonderful happened during Prime Time on RTÉ One.

Instead of the current affairs programme viewers were subjected/treated (delete where appropriate) to an audio loop of “Irish Ukrainians not Russians” for around twenty minutes.

Last night several remixes had sprung up within an hour, but now there’s the inevitable techno version.
