It's Friday so here's a slideshow of koalas from around the world

Sure didn’t God create Fridays for looking at pictures of cute animals?

THE KOALA AND not the Koala bear as it is often referred to is a marsupial native to Australia but famous throughout the world.

Found mostly in the coastal regions of eastern and southern Australia they are not as plentiful as they once were with some estimates that there are as few as 80,000 left in the wild.

Whilst the Australian government does not consider the species to be threatened the US government disagrees and has declared the koala a threatened species.

They are not perhaps as famous or as regular a feature in pop culture as penguins or donkeys but they’re cute nonetheless so here’s a slideshow of them in all their cuteness. Why? Well because it’s Friday of course!
