IF YOU WALK down Grafton Street today, you’ll spot several young men sitting on deckchairs outside BT2.
But they’re not just soaking up the rays. (Did we mention it’s a lovely day?)
They’re actually camping outside in advance of the release of Yeezy Boost 350.
What’s the Yeezy Boost 350, you ask? It’s a runner designed for Adidas by Kanye West.
Adidas states that the limited edition shoe is “exquisitely designed” and “transcends current sneaker trends”.
You hear that? They’re transcendent.
The shoes become available at 9am tomorrow morning and retail for €200. As BT2 only have a limited number of pairs in stock, they are not accepting reservations.
Hence why people have been queuing on Grafton Street since this morning.
This is not the first time Dubliners have gone mad for Kanye West footwear.
Earlier this summer, throngs of people queued outside BT2 to get a limited edition white pair of Yeezy Boost 350s.
And apparently it got ugly…
Godspeed, one and all.
