KINGS OF LEON went down a storm in Marlay Park last night, despite the rain.

The band played a well-received show to tens of thousands of fans, and it wasn’t only the punters who were appreciative of the Followills’ trip to Ireland.

Dublin band Kodaline played support last night, and gave Kings of Leon a proper Irish 4th of July welcome with their own Guinness tap:

Meanwhile U2 were also in a giving mood, sending over this hamper:

Always classy. Always welcoming. The band that taught us how to do things on the road. Source: jaredfollowill

Bassist Jared Followill posted the image online with the message:

Always classy. Always welcoming. The band that taught us how to do things on the road.

Meanwhile the band seemed to have the craic onstage as well as off.

And of course, there was the rain.
