IT’S CHRISTMAS EVE, and at this point almost everyone has piled home for Christmas, including the lads from Irish band Kodaline.

Last night they played a secret gig in a pub in their hometown of Swords as part of the Chandelier Sessions, a night dedicated to emerging artists.

They played to a full house, along with Irish artists Orla Gartland, Gavin James, Hudson Taylor and others, with all of the €5 cover charge going to HHT Ireland – a total of €5,000.

HHT Ireland is a charity set up in memory of Grace Nolan and Paul Woods, who was from Swords, both of whom died suddenly as a result of the condition.  It aims to raise awareness and provide funding for research and the treatment of the disorder.
