Someone on Facebook fell for satirical article claiming the Spire was robbed

IN FAIRNESS, SUCH a heist is not entirely inconceivable.

Seems one reader of the satirical website Waterford Whispers didn’t really get the concept of satire. The website published an article on their Facebook page recently that claimed that Dublin’s Spire landmark had been stolen by thieves looking for the metal.

A very confused reader took to Facebook for some clarification.

Let’s just double check to be sure.
