THE SUN WAS out, the stages were set, the pints prematurely pulled– Longitude had arrived in Dublin. The weekend saw 10,000 people descend on Marlay Park to watch the likes of Vampire Weekend, Phoenix and Hot Chip play over 3 days.
Whether you were there or not, it was hard to avoid. How did you know if someone went to the festival? They were tweeting about it. But let’s not point fingers, those Instagram filters look amazing in the light of dusk.
Here’s how the weekend went down on Twitter:
What a difference the sun made
The loo situation seemed to be dire to begin with
Not to worry. Other facilities were top-notch
Heineken's recycling initiative went down a treat

But didn't really work...

But hey, it's all about the music. Mark Lanegan brought the banter
3D glasses were out in force for Kraftwerk, who received a mixed reaction from the crowd. This calls for a selfie.

Pheonix got into the crowd
Yeah Yeah Yeahs emerged as a clear highlight

Those who couldn't make it bleakly joined in on the fun
If anything, they had saved themselves
So that's it, all over for another year. It's a loss, but we'll hold out until the Electric Picnic
