YESTERDAY, POPSTAR LORDE was having a bath and she was so excited about it that she decided to post a picture on Instagram.
She captioned the picture “And iiii will always love you.”
It didn’t take long for comments to point out that this was a slightly insensitive caption for a photograph of a bath, considering the fact that Whitney Houston’s autopsy revealed that she had accidentally drowned in her bath.
Comments reading “DELETE THIS SIS” and “CHANGE THE CAPTION” quickly rolled in. Fans on Twitter pointed out that Lorde didn’t mean any harm, but it was still a very unfortunate caption.
Lorde’s relaxing bath was quickly spoiled by the mishap.
She shared an apology on her story and deleted the photograph.
