People have been having fun with the giant No sign erected on a mountain in Sligo

Where there is a photo, there is photo editing software.

AS THE REFERENDUM draws near, both sides are attempting to get their message out anyway they can. Well Sligo For Life have gone a step further and erected a massive No sign on the north side of Ben Bulben mountain in Sligo.

People are pretty unhappy with this as Ben Bulben is considered a special area of conservation according to the National Parks and Wildlife Service. Political messages have been put on it before during the Troubles but people seem pretty unhappy with this new one.

Tommy Banks from Sligo for Life told Ocean FM this morning that the group put the message there because ‘it’s a big cry from the mountain to say no’. I forgot mountains were sentient and had opinions on the Irish Constitution.

Anyway where there is a picture there is a photo editing software and people have been having a great time editing the new sign.

It could be a great advertisement for U2 since we all love them now.

Or maybe they want to know what you do in your spare time?

It could be an appreciation of our favourite alcohol.

Or they’re just having their say on the most divisive issue facing us as a country at the moment.

They could be giving everybody in Ireland some helpful advice.

We do have some suggestions though if they want to edit it slightly.

But in reality, the sign is a great advertisement for what they’ve done to beautiful landmark.
