One Direction's Louis joked about being gay and fans FREAKED out

Cue hysteria.

A NEW WEEK, a new controversy for One Direction fans to obsess over.

Two days ago, this video was posted to Vine. In the brief clip, Louis Tomlinson can be overheard saying, “I’m gay, it’s pretty unfortunate”.

The six-second clip has been seen over 1.75 million times, because of course.

Despite the fact that the comment was most likely made in jest, it has caused Directioners to go into meltdown.

Several fans announced they were dying.
