Oh no.

THIS POLISH BAND’S name is a little uncomfortable when it comes to Irish audiences.

Yes, it’s Ira. Ira are a Polish rock band whose name doesn’t quite translate over in the British Isles.

So much so, the O2 ABC in Glasgow had to clarify exactly who were playing in the venue over the weekend

POLISH BAND IRA.

No, really

They really don’t want to mislead us

Even in Newcastle.

(Polish band)

It’s a step up from when they were banned from playing London’s Polish Festival back in 2006

The band’s name has a COMPLETELY different meaning, guys.

You don’t say.

The Opium Rooms will play host to Ira on April 7th, if you want to check them out.

Still, we’re not buying it
