YESTERDAY WAS ONE of the hottest days of the year, and Irish people were looking for any way to cool down.
Those lucky enough to be off (or pull a tactical sickie) flocked to the beaches.
Let’s spare a thought for those who couldn’t
1. Portmarnock, one of Dublin’s nicest beaches, was jammers
2. Yes, this is ‘jammers’ for an Irish beach
3. It looked like something out of Spain
4. Or a package-holiday brochure
Sun, sand, sea, bants.
5. Surely, we could get used to this
6. An ice-cream truck was in tow, of course
7. Sure why would you be any place else?
