Well, this guy in the US has certainly succeeded - and his intricate proposal video has gone super viral.
So, the couple here is Sam and Jess – and they’ve known each other since they were 10
They are in their 20s now so Sam came up with a serious plan to ask Jess to marry him – and it involved a ridiculous amount of planning which has won the heart of the internet.
First up, his cousin Matty is a singer – and he was integral to the plan going off without a hitch
Sam told Jess that Matty needed them to star in his new music video – and she agreed

Sam’s best friend was the filmmaker, and the “video” was being shot with the couple as the stars
While they were getting the shots, the scene was being set up for the proposal
And for the climax, Matty was singing the song he wrote especially for the couple
Sam got down on one knee to pop the question – and that’s when Jess realised what was happening
There’s a reason this proposal video has been watched nearly 2 million times. The internet absolutely loves Jess and Sam’s story – and it’s easy to see why.
