Welp, a remake of Rocky Horror Picture Show is on the way

IS NOTHING SACRED?

Fox has announced plans to remake the cult musical and air it as a two-hour TV special to mark the musical’s fortieth anniversary.

High School Musical director Kenny Ortega is on board to direct and choreograph the special, which is tentatively titled The Rocky Horror Picture Show Event.

People are aghast.

After all, does it really need a remake?
