RYAN TUBRIDY’S QUITE stunning Christmas jumper that he wore on last Friday’s Late Late Toy Show has sold at auction for €10,000 today.
The green and white, elf-like jumper sold in a live on-air auction on Tubridy’s morning programme on RTÉ 2fm earlier today.
The winning bidder has decided to remain anonymous so we can’t be certain if they’ll be wearing it around the house but RTÉ said in a statement that the bidder was “now the proud owner” of the garment.
The jumper is framed along with a picture of Tubs wearing it and the money goes to the 2fm Toy Appeal for the St Vincent de Paul, now in its third year having donated some 60,000 toys to families in need last year.
