Like any other shop, they have a Christmas window display. But theirs is… more eye catching than most.

Being unsure exactly what was going on with the products here, we called Basic Instincts up for some context. A friendly and helpful employee explained some things to DailyEdge.
So… um… what is Santa on there?
It’s not a product that we sell at the moment, but we might in future. It’s a machine that goes up and down. It’s a f***ing machine.
A f***ing machine? Yes. Here’s the NSFW Wikipedia entry, but essentially it is a moving pole with a sex toy on the end. Santa is covering the sex toy.
The staffer added:
We didn’t want to offend anyone with that yoke in the window, so we put Santa on the end.
And, uh, how would you use a machine like this? “You could use it for any purpose. It would be part of your role play.” And that behind it? “It’s a leather dog mask, from Amsterdam.”
So what’s the response been like? “We thought it might catch people’s eye,” the staffer said. “It’s had a good response.”
