What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday

This is the telly everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DAILYEDGE.IE ROUNDS UP the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Young Offenders (RTE 2, 9.30pm)

It’s finally here! The TV show based on the hit movie stars tonight. Conor and Jock are back, along with some familiar faces like fake Billy, we hope. The lads are putting Conor’s mam through pain again by fighting with their school headmaster and getting friendly with his daughters.

Derry Girls (Channel 4, 10pm)

Erin becomes editor of the school magazine, and Orla gets obsessed with step aerobics. SAVOUR IT, it’s the last in the series. At least we can go back and binge now.

Winter Olympics, Countdown to the Games (BBC 1, 7pm)

Clare Balding looks ahead to the games in PyeongChang , South Korea. She’ll profile big medal prospects and offer a full preview of the games. Wonderful.

Everyone’s talking about… The Young Offenders

The series hasn’t even started yet, and it’s already been confirmed that the BBC have commissioned a second series.

All signs point to a great show tonight, so.

Or switch over for…

Doctor Foster (RTE 1, 10.15pm) The series continues on RTE if you missed it the first time around.

Gerry Adams, War Peace and Politics (TV 3, 9pm) Part two of the two-part documentary.

Animals With Cameras (BBC 1, 8pm) Yes, they’ve strapped bodycams to animals and we can watch them.

Hunted (Channel 4, 9pm) The fugitives are still out there.
