The **** Factor: Nicolò can tweet "what he f-ing wants"

The X Factor: now officially bigger than Jesus. Or, at least, that’s what its first discarded singer thinks…

X FACTOR reject Nicolò Festa has managed to find an upside to his ejection from the show’s live finals after just one performance – he is, at least, now allowed “to tweet whatever I f**king want.”

The egotistical singer – who had told judge Dannii Minogue that his rise to fame was “inevitable” – was far from happy as his ejection was announced from the show last night.

“I feel like crap,” he told O’Leary, having come last of the 16 acts in the first public vote and thus dropping straight out of the competition.

Afterward he tweeted:

Well, Jesus left the scene pretty early too

…andlater put a further positive spin on his ejection, saying that he now was free to post Twitter messages on anything he liked, as his role on the show at ended.

Festa was joined on the losers’ pile by boy band FYD, who lost out in the judges’ vote to unpopular songstress Katie Waissel.

Irish acts Mary Byrne (50), Niall Horan (17, of boy band One Direction) and Rebecca Creighton (18, of girl group Belle Amie) are all safely through to next week’s shows.
