Chalk Adam down as a Sound Lad.

ALL HIS LIFE, Max Kessler has been told he looks and acts like Adam Sandler.

You can see the resemblance, right?

So imagine his surprise when he saw the trailer for the actor’s latest Netflix movie, The Do-Over, and realised that Sandler’s character is called… Max Kessler. Yes, really.

The real Max Kessler posted about the coincidence on Reddit, attaching a picture of himself side-by-side with Sandler.

Kessler’s post quickly went viral, and attracted the attention of Adam Sandler himself, who responded with this:

…and Sandler decided to invite Kessler to “come party” with him at The Do-Over premiere.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on the night of the premiere, Sandler introduced Kessler to the world, saying:

It’s a younger, sweeter, better version of me. He’s a good kid, he’s funny as hell and I was happy to meet him. We do everything together now.

Kessler told Buzzfeed that Sandler is a ‘cool guy’, and he hopes to meet up with him again sometime soon:

I definitely hope to stay in touch with him and hope to be alongside him in a movie in the future. If that doesn’t happen, this has just been an incredible experience.
