People are cracking up over this ASOS jumpsuit that's essentially just a big pair of trousers

Have they been rummaging in Simon Cowell’s wardrobe?

ANY REGULAR ASOS customer will know that they come out with some interesting stuff sometimes. How about a puffa jacket with a corset over it? Because they have one.

But even those most inured to ASOS’ eccentricities are having trouble with the brand’s €54 ‘Minimal Jumpsuit’, which is getting roasted on Twitter for resembling nothing more than a massive pair of men’s slacks:

If they didn’t include the front zip things could have been alright. But they did, and there’s no turning back now.

Yer one is modelling the hell out of it all the same. It can’t be easy.

The ‘jumpsuit’ has elicited quite a few comparisons to the ‘legs go all the way up’ scene from Family Guy:

As well as this picture of Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders:

And of course, Simon Cowell’s timeless sense of style. All you would need is a pair of shiny pointed shoes to complete the look.

The jumpsuit has gone just a little bit viral thanks to this tweet:

As for ASOS themselves, they have attempted to explain it… but not particularly well.

“I would love to say that it is a jumpsuit.” Sounds like they are even not 100% sure. Ah ASOS, thanks for the comic relief.
