The Apple Market from Davy Macs was chosen as a worthy winner following the Great Irish Beverages cocktail festival last week.
The Apple Market consists of Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish gin, Licor 43, fresh mint, fresh apple, sugar syrup, and lemon.
Over 90 venues across Ireland created a cocktail in the hope of being the best, with the winner voted through social media.
Davy Mac’s only opened last Christmas, but has already got a name for itself as a gin bar not to be messed with. You had us at the word ‘gin’, to be fair.
Drumsanbo Gunpowder Irish gin is slow distilled by hand with ‘oriental botanicals and gunpowder tea’ at The Shed Distillery in Drumshanbo, Leitrim.
