Bow Wow just got caught out pretending he had a private jet on Instagram

Tip: don’t lie about where you are when 3.4 million people follow you on Instagram.

SEVENTEEN YEARS AGO rapper Bow Wow released the song he is most well known for. In the opening to Bow Wow (That’s My Name), Bow Wow whose real name is Shad Moss, sang “Hair nappy, but I’m happy. Pocket full of dough.” Today that hair is nowhere to be seen and apparently he’s not doing so well on the dough front either.

Yesterday in an Instagram post he shared a photo of a private jet, which would make one assume that he was about to board that very jet and fly to New York, like he said he had to.

However, a Twitter user who happened to be on the actual flight Bow Wow took to New York spotted him on the plane.

There’s really no shame in flying like the rest of us. Just own it. Private jets cost up to $6500 per hour and they’re pretty bad for the environment. The worst thing here is the fact that he didn’t even take the photo himself. Twitter quickly realised that he pulled it from Google.

Twitter has not held back on roasting him for it

Since he was found out, people have started to tweet photos of them pulling stunts to make themselves look more successful than they are, that are just as ridiculous as Bow Wow’s.

Then one user pointed out that pretty much everyone online lies about how good their lives are

But it’s really not a good idea if you have 3.4 million followers on Instagram.

Makes you wonder if this was really even his house and his huge portrait of himself in this video:
