Paparazzi often shout things at celebrities they’re trying to photograph to get their attention – and sometimes, to provoke a certain reaction.
Yesterday, Teigen tweeted about an incident at JFK Airport in New York where a photographer shouted a “f**king disgusting” racist question at her and Legend:

Paparazzi at JFK just asked me “If we evolved from monkeys, why is John Legend still around?” And people wonder why celebs lose it in pics. Also, John is right next to me. The balls.
She said that the paparazzo initially started asking her questions about her cookbook Cravings, which she was happy to answer, then turned on her out of the blue.

Responding to a fan who said she should have answered back, Teigen said she didn’t want to give him the opportunity to take an angry photo of her:
Nah. They live for that photo and lawsuit… Guess we’ll find him when he puts the video out. That he edits the sh*t out of since he didn’t get clocked.
