LOOK WE’RE NOT saying that electing celebrities to the highest offices in the land is a good idea given what’s currently happening in the US with Donald Trump. However, a good few of us think that Chrissy Teigen could do a semi-decent job right?
She’s already demonstrated her compassion with her powerful speech against the separation of immigrant children from their parents. As well as that, herself and husband John Legend donated $280,000 to the American Civil Liberties Union last month to mark Donald Trump’s 72nd birthday.
So basically she’s 280,000 times a better person to Trump which has to mean something right? RIGHT?
Well if any of us were dreaming of Chrissy taking the Oval Office for herself, she has dashed those dreams. Speaking to Bustle Chrissy ruled herself out of running for office anytime soon.
I always thought John would be that person and then I would always joke to him, “I’m not capable of being a first lady,” and now I’m like, “Oh my gosh, I could literally be the president.” But no, I would never. Don’t worry, we deserve better than that.”
It’s a tragedy really because if Miggedly gets re-elected in November then we could have had President Chrissy Teigen meeting President Michel D Higgins which would have benefitted everyone really. I feel she’d really dig Bród and Síoda.
Anyway, Chrissy also revealed that she doesn’t really like being referred to as a model either.
It’s so weird. I just feel like, it’s the last thing I do or I don’t really feel like I do it at all anymore. I’ve never been offended by it. If anything, I was just always weirded out to say it.”
So does she know what she does?
I feel like I’m still learning that about myself and what I want to do, but I think we’re in this time now where people really have so many different titles and you don’t have to be held down to one thing.”
Fair enough. There’s definitely still time for her to change her mind about running for President if she wants to. We’ll cross our fingers.
