If you like laughing, that is.

IRISH PEOPLE ARE known for their wit.

While we’re not really known for sticking to a few words, Irish humour actually comes across pretty well in 140 characters or less.

Here, in no particular order, are the funniest Irish people on Twitter.

Damien Owens – @OwensDamien

Damien Owens has written novels and for TV. He also writes funny tweets about his family and current affairs.

John Brennan – @ActingAnEejit

John specialises in whimsy, renaming everyday objects with touch-of-bizarre pun genius.

Megan Nolan – @Megaroooo

Former stand-up comedian Megan Nolan tweets about her everyday life, the pains of work, and opinions on the inane television programmes she watches on Netflix.

Damon Blake – @BlakingPoint

Damon is a writer, producer and stand-up comedian who tweets observational funnies.
