We smell a playdate…
Rumours swirled a couple of weeks ago that the human rights lawyer is pregnant and it was confirmed late last night by ‘multiple sources’, including the couple’s pal Matt Damon.
US TV presenter Julie Chen says the babies are due in June, and another source quoted by People magazine says the couple are “very happy”.
Speaking at the premiere of his film The Great Wall last night, Matt Damon said he almost cried when George told him the news:
I was working with him last fall and he pulled me aside on set and I mean, I almost started crying. I was so happy for him.

George and Amal haven’t been making many public appearances lately – the last time they were spotted out and about in early January, tabloids noted that Amal was “showing off a fuller figure” (nudge nudge).
