PANTI BLISS WAS honoured with the Editor’s Special Award at the Attitude Awards in London last night, for her anti-homophobia campaigning during #Pantigate.
The drag performer – also known as Rory O’Neill – went over for the ceremony and won a standing ovation for her acceptance speech.
Graham Norton, who tweeted his support for Panti’s Noble Call earlier this year, got a picture.
As did Jonathan Ross.
There were a few other famous faces around too.
And then there was the award. Let’s just say it went down well.
Even Embarrassing Bodies’ Dr Christian had something to say.
Congratulations Panti. In case you haven’t seen it, here’s the speech that started it all off:Source: rory oneill/YouTube
