IRELAND’S LOVE AFFAIR with Home and Away is as strong as ever, with more than four million people using the RTÉ Player to catch up on the happenings in Summer Bay.

In fact, soaps made up the top three most streamed shows, with Fair City and Eastenders coming in second and third respectively.

The Late Late Show racked up 1.6 million views on the Player, with the Toy Show accounting for 205,000 of those streams.

The fourth episode of the latest series of Love/Hate meanwhile was responsible for 207,000 of the 921,000 streams of the whole series. The series, with only six episodes, elicited a similar number of streams to the 365 episodes of the Nine O’Clock News and beat Six-One into ninth place.
