HOW MANY TIMES have you bitten your tongue when asked for your opinion? How many times have you just wanted to be brutally honest? This granny is inspiration to us all.

77-year-old Scottish granny Hazel Ramsay has gone viral for informing a Facebook friend that her attempt at making tattie scones (potato cakes) looked like ‘sh*te’:

Sorry, Alison but they look shite hope they tasted better than they looked I’ve no tried the recipe yet but I will post a picture x

Poor Alison. She was so excited about her tattie scones. And the ‘x’! Ruthless.

Hazel’s granddaughter Rowan screengrabs of the interaction have been shared thousands of times since she tweeted them yesterday – she told Metro that her granny just “does not care”:

No beating about the bush, she’s hilarious… She isn’t a great cook at all, she has a cheek, she makes a cracking pot of soup but that’s her limit. She’s no Gordon Ramsay.

Nevertheless, Hazel did make her own tattie scones – and she requested that Rowan post a picture of them on Twitter as proof.

How’d you like that, Alison.
